Bury Plant Swap
Bury St Edmunds Plant Swap returns for 2026, offering an opportunity to swap spare seedlings and young plants with others in the community. Sponsored by Havebury Homes, the Plant Swap is a completely free event that takes place in the Quaker Meeting House on St John’s Street, from 11.30am-2pm on Saturday 25 April 2026.

All ages welcome, this dog-friendly event encourages people to share the love of plants to make Bury St Edmunds a greener town for all to enjoy. Even if you have no plants to swap, donations can be made for those taken, with all proceeds going to Bury in Bloom to further enhance our work within the community.
Other stalls at the event include compost from Eazy Gardening, Bury Wildlife Day, and the new app for horticulture, Horti AI Chris.
Any surplus plants at the end of the event will be offered to local schools and organisations.
