Anglia in Bloom judging 2023
Bury in Bloom coordinator, Chris Wiley, has announced that Bury St Edmunds was judged by Anglia in Bloom this week! He says:
“Thank you so much to everyone who has helped along the way, be it from litter picking, sponsorship, photography or weeding – the list is endless! We honestly couldn’t do it without you. Not forgetting our amazing volunteers who organise Greenfingers, Certificate of Merit, the Abbey Gardens Volunteer Group and Bury Water Meadows – we can’t thank everyone in this post, but you know who you are
Special thanks to our main sponsors and supporters, Greene King Brewery, Denbury Homes, Care UK, Our Bury St Edmunds, West Suffolk Council and Bury St Edmunds Town Council
We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better outcome. The judges had fun (esp on the Bury St Edmunds Rickshaw and being escorted around in the Care UK minibus ) and now we await the results in September!”
Bury in Bloom is a charity dedicated to promoting a greener, cleaner and more colourful Bury St Edmunds. It is part of The Bury St Edmunds Society CIO.
