Fountain of Flowers unveiling
The official unveiling of the Fountain of Flowers has been set for Tuesday 21 July as the people of Bury St Edmunds say a ‘Giant Thank You’ to all the staff and carers at West Suffolk Hospital.
The two-meter-high floral display, weighing 300kgs, was funded by donations from members the public, the Bury St Edmunds Society and councillor’s locality budgets. Donations ‘In Kind’ were made by Woolpit Nurseries, CCG Gardeners, and the West Suffolk Hospital Estates Department
The Fountain of Flowers can be found by the steps as visitors and staff approach the hospital entrance from Car Park A and will be replanted in the autumn for a winter display.
Bury in Bloom regret that due to Covid 19 precautions and the location, this cannot be a public event.
