Bloom
inspires young artists
We have had a total of nearly 300 art entries and following
Monday's judging, 63 children have now been given
a GOLD AWARD.
Judging the Bury in Bloom
art competition has taken place, after hundreds of youngsters took part in
an art competition. After initial judging Mike
Ames chairman said " It is the first time we
have run the competition and I am impressed with
the standard. Each youngster will be awarded a
gold, silver or bronze certificate -while
youngsters from the school with the winning entry
will get the chance to plant their school's name
in a flower bed in the Abbey Gardens.
The best planted yesterday.
Wait and see who that is!
Other Gold Awards
that will be displayed in the
windows of shops in Bury St Edmunds in July
2008. |
