Hidden Gardens
The Hidden Gardens of Bury
Sunday 17th June 2012
11am – 5pm
Now entering its 26th year the Hidden Gardens of Bury St Edmunds continue to intrigue and delight! Visitors can explore the 30 or more gardens normally hidden behind
walls and historic buildings around the central medieval grid of the town. This event attracts around 2000 visitors a year and there is always something new to see -
whether it be a new garden or an evolving established favourite.
Many gardens offer refreshments and plants for sale and it is a favourite date in the tourist calendar.
Not only that but the event raises in excess of £15,000 each year for the St Nicholas Hospice based in Bury St Edmunds.
Sunday 17th June is Father’s Day, so we hope to see many happy dads strolling through the gardens and having a great day out!
Entry is by programme obtained for a minimum donation of £5. These will be available before the day from the Tourist Information Centre (TIC), Angel Hill, Bury St
Edmunds and on the day they can be obtained from the TIC and also from our Gazebo on Angel Hill. Further information from the Tourist Information Centre on
